Google recently introduced mobile-first indexing. Say what? It means that Google will now use the mobile version of your site for indexing and ranking in order to better help mobile users find what they’re looking for. Why, you ask? Most people use their mobile devices for browsing the web. It’s a fact. Google has historically used the desktop version of your site’s content for crawling, indexing, and ranking. But, it causes issues for mobile searchers when the desktop version differs from the mobile version.
