Exsel Advertising donated $500 to the Two Ten Foundation’s Footwear Warrior Scholarship Fund. The donation was made possible through Exsel Advertising employees who combined efforts to raise money for the charitable foundation. The Footwear Warriors Scholarship promotes vocational and higher education among Veterans currently employed, or returning to work in the footwear industry after their tour of duty.
“Through friends, family, the media, we are often reminded of the challenges our veterans face upon returning home,” explains Rich Suitum, president Exsel Advertising. “One major challenge is having the ability to return to civilian work. When we heard about this scholarship fund from our friends at Two-Ten and Quabaug Corporation, we were eager to donate what we could to support our veterans in life after service.”
In addition to the scholarship fund, Two Ten Footwear Foundation will identify a small number of special partners that will help expand job placement opportunities for Veterans in the footwear industry.

We have teamed up with Gastite, an industry leader in flexible gas piping, to develop their first mobile app: Gastite Sizing Guide. Available for download from iTunes and Android stores, this HVAC utility app offers gas pipe installers a quick and easy solution to calculate the appropriate size piping for their specific application.
Utilizing advanced algorithms, our developers converted the company’s printed sizing charts into an intuitive mobile app. Instead of searching through 10 pages of tables in an installation guide and manually calculating pipe sizes, installers use scroll wheels to enter data. As the options are chosen, the app calculates the appropriate size Gastite flexible gas piping for the scenario. The app also includes a downloadable version of Gastite’s Design & Installation Guide, an FAQ section and a link out to technical support.
With over 2,800 downloads and an Android user review of 4.8 out of 5, the Gastite Sizing Guide mobile app has proven to save time, extend brand awareness, and increase customer loyalty.
