Rebrand of Exsel Advertising Group. New sign on side of brick building.

Time for a Rebrand?

Why change what’s already working?

Take a step back. Is it really working the best it could be? Or is it just simply…working?

In the creative world, things are never really done. We just get to a point where we have to be okay with stopping. The truth is, every time a designer looks at a project, be it their own or someone else’s, they want to tweak something. That doesn’t mean it’s not good work, it just means there’s always room for improvement.

Where are we going with this?

Let me introduce you to the new Exsel Advertising Group. We’ve done some sprucing up ‘round these parts, and we’re pretty excited about it. If you’re here, you’ve noticed our new site. Pretty cool, eh? We think so. (Except the boys. They’ll tell you “it looks nice.” Just like when you get a haircut.) We cleaned up our logo (You didn’t notice? No big deal. We’ll take it as a compliment.), spiffed up our branding, and we even repotted some plants around the office.

So, what’s the fuss? Well, have you heard the story of how the shoe cobbler’s kids have the most worn out shoes? Same goes here. We’ve been so busy working on everyone else’s branding projects, that we didn’t even get to celebrate our 25th year! (Not to worry, there was plenty of cake anyhow.) But in the branding world, the job is never totally done. And we felt it was the right time to change things up a bit.

I know what you’re thinking — how does this relate to you?

Take a look around. When was the last time your branding was cleaned up? Have you thought about updating your company’s color scheme to a modern palette, or are you still hanging on to Reflex Blue and the like? Have you been using the same brochure for 10 years? (Spoiler alert: that was 2008!) What about your website — when did you last update the look and functionality? We’re not beating up on you — to be fair, our own website hadn’t been revamped in at least three years. Three years in the web world is a lifetime! But we finally did it. Now it’s your turn. Let’s make your business work better for you.
